COLUMBUS, Ohio — It’s awards season, and there are too many college football All-America teams to keep track of. So we’re doing it for you. This will be your Ohio State football All-America tracker for 2016, your one-stop shop to be updated any time a Buckeye lands on an All-American list. Landing on any “reputable” first-team All-America lists gets a player a tree planted in Buckeye Grove. The NCAA recognizes five lists for consideration as either a consensus or unanimous All-American: The Sporting News, the Associated Press, the Football Writers Association of America, the American Football Coaches Association and the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Consensus All-Americans appear on at least three lists, while unanimous appear on all five.
