Debatable: Is JT Barrett the best option at QB for the Buckeyes?


It’s a hot-button topic among Buckeye Nation. With J.T. Barrett announcing his intention to return for his senior season, the fanbase is torn on how to feel about this. On one hand, Barrett would be a four-year starting quarterback for Ohio State, something you don’t see often. He’s 26-4 in his career and is both an OSU and Big Ten recorder holder. He finished fifth in the Heisman Trophy voting as a redshirt freshman, but has not lived up to that 2014 season in either of the last two years. In limited time, backup quarterback Joe Burrow ran the offense efficiently and highly recruited Dwayne Haskins and Tate Martell are both hoping to get on the field sooner rather than later.
