Ohio State football leads country in NFL Draft early entrants for second straight year

COLUMBUS, Ohio — You might be so caught up in Ohio State football that you don’t realize some other college football programs have had a pretty good run of players leaving early for the NFL Draft over the last two years. Clemson will have 11, while Florida will have 10. But nobody tops the Buckeyes, not in this instance anyway. For the second straight year, Ohio State will have the most early entrants into the NFL Draft. Monday was the final day for players to declare early, and the final official list doesn’t come out until Friday, but we know the names by now. Safety Malik Hooker, cornerback Marshon Lattimore, cornerback Gareon Conley, linebacker Raekwon McMillan, H-back Curtis Samuel and receiver Noah Brown have all declared.
