When most Buckeye fans think of Bishop Gorman and the 2017 class, their mind goes right to quarterback Tate Martell. But he is not the only star the Las Vegas, NV high school is sending to Ohio State this year. Haskell Garrett was a beast at defensive tackle for the Gaels, helping to go undefeated in high school and winning three straight national and state championships. He recorded 54 tackles, 20 tackles for a loss and 7.5 sacks as a senior on his way to being ranked the fifth DT in the 2017 class in the 247Sports Composite. A 4-star OSU commit, Garrett is looking to come to Columbus and make an impact. As seen on his highlight video, Garrett has the size to battle up front but maintains the athleticism to chase down running backs and athletic quarterbacks.
