Can Joshua Alabi help Ohio State football improve its offensive line depth?

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Up until this spring, the most memorable thing Joshua Alabi had done at Ohio State was show up to training camp two years ago wearing an “Imported from Detroit” T-shirt. That’s not necessarily a knock on Alabi. He was a three-star prospect, so maybe more of a developmental guy, in the Class of 2015 and found himself at a now suddenly loaded position on the defensive line. It’s hard to break through at Ohio State, and Alabi will be just a redshirt sophomore this fall. But if he can’t crack the rotation as a defensive tackle, maybe he can do it at another spot. Alabi is repping at offensive tackle this spring, according to center Billy Price, making a move to the other side of the ball that could be beneficial to both Alabi and the Buckeyes. “I’ve got my hands on him personally,” Price said this…
