Ohio State football to donate $10,000 to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts

Ohio State football is the latest group to answer the call to action to help all those affected by Hurricane Harvey. The team has made a $10,000 donation to the American Red Cross to help in the recovery effort that has displaced thousands. Players will make the initial donations, with the coaching staff filling in to get to the $10,000 pledge. They decided as a team they wanted to do something to contribute to the recovery. In addition to the monetary assistance, both Ohio State and Indiana will wear helmet stickers honoring those affected by the storm. The Buckeyes might play in Ohio, but several of the players made their way to Columbus by way of Texas. Seven players hail from the state, including: J.T. Barrett, Baron Browning, J.K.
