Ohio State football: Grinch officially added as defensive assistant coach

Tim May The Columbus Dispatch @TIM_MAYsports As expected, Grove City native Alex Grinch — defensive coordinator at Washington State — is being added to the Ohio State football coaching staff, coach Urban Meyer confirmed Monday. The role and title for Grinch, 37, will be announced later, an Ohio State news release said, but he is expected to be added to the defensive side under coordinator Greg Schiano. The NCAA has allowed Football Bowl Subdivision teams to add a 10th full-time assistant starting Tuesday.
