COLUMBUS, Ohio — No. 6 Ohio State is currently involved in a two-team race for the final spot in the College Football Playoff. Both the Buckeyes and No. 5 Oklahoma hold one-loss records going into their conference championship games. Both teams need to win — along with No. 1 Alabama doing what most expect them to do against No. 4 Georgia — in order to keep their chances alive, but how they win may play a part in deciding between the two. As it stands Oklahoma is ahead of Ohio State in the College Football Playoff rankings. Committee Chairman Rob Mullens stated that one of the main reasons for that is because of the quality of the two teams loss.
