COLUMBUS, Ohio — No. 6 Ohio State is currently involved in a two-team race for the final spot in the College Football Playoff. Both the Buckeyes and No. 5 Oklahoma hold one-loss records going into their conference championship games. Both teams need to win — along with No. 1 Alabama doing what most expect them to do against No. 4 Georgia — in order to keep their chances alive, but how they win may play a part in deciding between the two. As it stands Oklahoma is ahead of Ohio State in the College Football Playoff rankings.
