Defensive tackle Robert Landers is one of the most underrated players on Ohio State’s roster. The fourth-year junior was named honorable mention All-Big Ten this season, but that doesn’t begin to reflect just how valuable Landers is for the No. 6 Buckeyes (12-1). The 6-foot-1, 285-pound Landers is a bowling ball of a DT who often gets great push and disrupts plays. Like most good one-tech defensive tackles, what Landers does best does not show up in the stat sheet. He has just five tackles-for-loss and one sack in 10 games this season (missed three games due to injuries). However, it is Landers who frees up other OSU defenders to make plays. And the good news for the Buckeyes is that Landers is only a fourth-year junior, and fully plans on returning for his fifth-year senior season in 2019.
