Four Buckeyes named to NFL's Pro Bowl

Ohio State pumps talent into the NFL every year. Many of those Buckeyes go on to have very productive careers as professional football players. This year was no different. On Tuesday night, the NFL announced the rosters for the 2019 Pro Bowl and four former Ohio State players were selected. On the NFC roster, the Buckeyes are represented by New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas and Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott. On the AFC side, Cleveland Browns rookie cornerback Denzel Ward and Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward are the former Scarlet and Gray players that were selected. Thomas is having a record-setting year for the Saints. The third-year receiver, who was selected in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, has caught 109 of his 127 targets for New Orleans, which has the League’s best record at 12-2, for 1,267 yards and eight touchdowns.
