The Buckeyes have offered a scholarship to Las Vegas (Nev.) Desert Pines class of 2020 tight end Darnell Washington. Washington posted the offer on his Twitter account late on Tuesday night. In fact, he mentioned it was late in the post. “A little late for this but beyond blessed to receive a offer to The University Of The Ohio State,” Washington posted. The Buckeyes had been interested in signing two tight ends in their 2019 class, but will end up signing just one, Cormontae Hamilton from Memphis (Tenn.) Whitehaven. The Buckeyes signed one tight end in their 2018 class and it was the country’s No. 1 class of 2018 tight end, Jeremy Ruckert from New York.
