Ohio State, Brian Snead part ways

Hopes were high for running back Brian Snead when he enrolled at Ohio State in June of 2018. However, multiple sources have told Bucknuts that Snead is leaving OSU’s program, effective immediately. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Snead was ranked as the No. 3 RB and the No. 80 overall recruit in the country in the 2018 class, per the 247Sports Composite. The native of Seffner, Fla. (Armwood High School) impressed OSU’s coaches during preseason camp in August, and word quickly spread that Snead had earned himself playing time as a true freshman. That proved to be true. In the Buckeyes’ first two games of the season, Snead combined for 11 carries for 37 yards and a touchdown. Then suddenly, he did not make the trip for the third game of the season – against TCU – and Ohio State was very coy regarding the reason why. Snead ended up not playing any more…
