Brian Snead’s Ohio State career is over. Snead will not return to the team after being suspended for all but the first two games of last season, The Ozone’s Tom Orr reported Friday. Ohio State did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A four-star recruit in the class of 2018, Snead played in the Buckeyes’ first two games of last season as a true freshman, carrying the ball 11 times for 37 yards and a touchdown. Snead was suspended prior to Ohio State’s third game of the season against TCU, however, for what was only described as a “violation of team rules,” and he was never reinstated. Now, Snead will look to continue his college football career elsewhere, while Ohio State will have one less running back.
