National Signing Day: Dawand Jones picks Ohio State

Ohio State wrapped up its 2019 recruiting class by adding Dawand Jones.  The three-star offensive lineman made his choice known in a ceremony at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis on Wednesday night.  Jones is the No. 84 tackle prospect in the country according to 247Sports Composite rankings, but had a strong offer list and chose the Buckeyes over Indiana, Florida, Penn State and USC.  The 6-foot-8, 360-pound senior fills a major need in Columbus.  After the surprise decision of All-American center Michael Jordan to enter the 2019 NFL draft, Ohio State was left with only nine scholarship offensive linemen returning from the 2018 team.  They added five-star center Harry Miller and four-star tackle Ryan Jacoby in the early signing period in December but lost four-star verbal commit Doug Nester on Wednesday morning.  >>RELATED: Analyzing Urban Meyer’s recruiting at Ohio State | How Meyer’s recruiting compares to Jim Tressel, John Cooper Hours…
