The Buckeyes have recruited the state of Georgia well over the past five plus seasons. It is a prep talent rich state that has sent some outstanding football players to Ohio State including linebacker Raekwon McMillan who had an outstanding career for the Buckeyes. And more recently the Buckeyes landed 5-star center Harry Miller and 4-star running back/athlete Steele Chambers out of Georgia as part of their 2019 recruiting class. Ryan Day recruited Georgia while he was an assistant on Urban Meyer’s staff and was absolutely huge in particular in Miller signing with the Buckeyes and important with Chambers too. So, it is not surprising that with Day taking over for Meyer, the Buckeyes will continue to make a strong recruiting effort in the Peach State.
