The men’s tennis Buckeyes are of to a hot start to 2019, beginning the season 9-0 and earning the top ranking in the latest USTA poll. Three of the Buckeyes nine wins have come against top-25 opponents as Ohio State downed then-ranked No. 9 Stanford, No. 24 Georgia and No. 5 USC in a 10-day span between Feb. 2 and 12. Ohio State is arguably the hottest team in the country headed into this weekend’s ITA National Indoor Championship, and boasts one of the nation’s most talented rosters. The Buckeyes have five players ranked nationally in singles as well as two doubles teams ranked in the latest ITA poll. JJ Wolf is the No. 2 player in the nation with Kyle Seelig following close behind at No. 12.
