If you were anywhere around Central Ohio on Monday afternoon, you likely heard the collective boom from the direction of Ohio State’s campus. If you missed it, don’t worry it was there. The Buckeyes received the commitment of graduate transfer offensive linemen Jonah Jackson, the fifth-ranked player available in the NCAA’s new transfer portal according to the 247Sports rankings. Why was Jackson’s commitment such a big deal for the Scarlet and Gray? For one, Jackson can provide the type of talent and experience Ohio State wasn’t going to get elsewhere.
