Why Ohio State is intent on landing a grad transfer O-lineman

Ryan Day hasn’t been a head coach at Ohio State very long but he has quickly made it a priority to add offensive linemen to the Buckeyes’ roster. Day and his staff have offered a number of offensive lineman in the 2020 and 2021 classes, hoping to land several in each. But that won’t help the Scarlet and Gray in 2019. For an immediate fix, Day and his staff have turned to the graduate transfer market, specifically Jonah Jackson, formerly of Rutgers, RJ Proctor, who is leaving Virginia, and former Georgia Tech O-lineman Parker Braun. Jackson visited Ohio State in late January. Proctor will be in Columbus on March 1. It is unclear if Braun will visit the Buckeyes.
