He believed that even before he started his first game for Ohio State last year. That steadfast confidence in himself was reinforced by his record-breaking season for the Buckeyes. “I knew before the season I could go to the NFL,” Haskins said Friday in front of a large throng of reporters. “I just had to play. I played every game to get better. “I knew once I got through the season, I’d put enough on film. I threw for 4,800 yards. I left some yards on the field.
