COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Here are some of the key notes from Ohio State’s first spring practice under head coach Ryan Day: Tackle Thayer Munford and safety Jordan Fuller are among the veteran players sitting out spring football due to injuries from this past season. Transfer QB Justin Fields took a majority of snaps during the window media was allowed to watch. Fields has a lively arm and threw some impressive balls. Matthew Baldwin took the second most snaps. Safety Brendon White may convert to a linebacker/safety hybrid position. White went through early drills in practice with the linebacker group. Freshman DE Zach Harrison will wear #33 and he looked comfortable in early drills. Fellow 5-star recruit, WR Garrett Wilson, will wear #5.
