COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football held its first spring practice on Wednesday morning as the Buckeyes kicked off the Ryan Day era. Reporters were permitted to watch about the first hour of practice. Here’s what we learned about the pecking order for the defense and how the new defensive coaching staff. This is a rough depth chart based on watching drills and just a period or two where the defense was out there as a front seven or back seven and working as a group. The Buckeyes did not line up for full 11 on 11 work while the media was present. We’ll have some notes on the chart, so don’t freak out.
