It was a surprise to most Ohio State fans when sophomore Kyle Young was available to play on Feb. 7 against Penn State. Less than two weeks before, head coach Chris Holtmann announced the forward was expected to miss “several weeks” with a stress fracture in his right leg. Yet he returned and played 25 minutes in a 74-70 win against the Nittany Lions, contributing six points and six rebounds. In nearly a month since coming back, Young is averaging five points and four rebounds per game and playing just under 18 minutes per contest.
