Ohio State gets another quarterback verbal commitment

It’s raining quarterbacks at Ohio State.  Kyle McCord, a four-star prospect in the class of 2021 from Philadelphia St. Joseph’s Prep, verbally committed to Ohio State on Tuesday morning, becoming the third signal-caller to add his name to the Buckeyes’ depth chart in the past two weeks.  The 6-foot-3, 204-pound McCord is a four-star prospect and the No. 8 pro-style quarterback in the country according to 247Sports.com.  His commitment comes three days after Gunnar Hoak announced he plans to transfer from Kentucky to Ohio State and four days after J.P. Andrade verbally committed as a preferred walk-on from the class of 2019.  The rush of quarterbacks into the fold comes after the cupboard had become dangerously close to empty.  Since early January, Ohio State has lost Dwayne Haskins as an early entry to the NFL draft and Tate Martell and Matthew Baldwin as transfers.  >>RELATED: QB transfers nothing new at Ohio State…
