Going into Friday night’s game, the Buckeyes were on the outside looking in, but just one game back of being above the line. With five teams still battling to make it to the postseason, the Buckeyes must show well against Penn State at home in a three game series this weekend, then continue to do damage against Purdue in the regular-season series finale. So far, so good, as Ohio State was able to do just enough to take down the Nittany Lions Friday night 4-2 at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium.
