WILLIAMSPORT- Five-star wide receiver Julian Fleming has decided where he will play college football, but according to his mother Betsy, he has told only in immediate family members ahead of a May 31 public announcement. It will be just a verbal commitment because he cannot officially sign until December, the nation’s No. 5 Class of 2020 recruit pointed out, but one of Ohio State, Penn State, Alabama, and Clemson will certainly be thrilled with his decision. The Buckeyes are currently considered the leader, as the 247Sports’ Crystal Ball feature, which serves as a prediction tool, has seen a number of picks logged for Ryan Day’s team in recent days. On Thursday, OSU receivers coach Brian Hartline traveled to Pennsylvania to watch Fleming compete in the PIAA District 4 track and field championships.
