Ohio State's Boulais named ITA Midwest Region Rookie of the Year

Ohio State women’s tennis team didn’t have the season the Buckeyes were hoping for. The Scarlet and Gray finished the regular season with a 19-7 record and an 8-3 record in the Big Ten. In early May, the 25th ranked Ohio State tennis team made its sixth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament, and the 16th in program history, but lost in the first round 4-3 to Georgia Tech (ranked No. 41 in the country) after over an hour-long rain delay and more stoppages due to lightning. While the season didn’t end the way the Buckeyes wanted, the Scarlet and Gray did receive some good news on Saturday when Isabelle Boulais was named the ITA Midwest Region Rookie of the Year.
