Four-star recruit Jordan Morant lists Ohio State football in his top five, sets commitment date

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jordan Morant of Bergen Catholic (N.J.) High School has Ohio State among his final five schools for consideration. The four-star safety posted a video on Twitter revealing that the Buckeyes are on a short list entitled his “Lucky 5” that includes Michigan, Penn State, Texas A&M and USC. Morant is rated as the No. 159 overall player and the No. 10 safety in the 2020 recruiting class. He is the third defensive back this week to list the Buckeyes among his final schools, joining Lathan Ransom of Salpointe Catholic (Ariz.) and Makari Paige of West Bloomfield (Mich.). Morant has not yet scheduled an official visit with the Buckeyes but will take trips to Happy Valley on June 14 and Ann Arbor the following week.
