Ohio State football’s defensive coaches find solace in keeping things simple: Buckeye Take

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Throughout spring football, many of Ohio State’s defensive players emphasized their belief that the major difference between this year and the 2018 season is how simple things are. The defensive schemes, they contend, are a lot less complex, making it much easier for players to play fast. Some of that is because four of the five defensive coaches are brand new and understandably patient in implementing their schemes.
