Country’s No. 1 cornerback includes Buckeyes in loaded Top 5

The Buckeyes offered a scholarship to Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro class of 2020 cornerback Kelee Ringo in mid-April 2018. Then Ohio State assistant coach Alex Grinch extended the offer. Grinch is no longer at Ohio State, but Ringo’s interest in the Buckeyes remains. In fact, on Thursday Ringo named his Top 5 and the Buckeyes were included. Ringo posted a Top 5 of Ohio State, Georgia, Texas, Alabama and Oregon on his Twitter account.  Ohio State co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach Jeff Hafley has recruited Ringo. In addition to Ohio State, the 6-foot-2 and 205-pound Ringo has a list of 35 plus offers that in addition to his Top 5 also includes Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Florida State, Clemson, Washington, Notre Dame and Michigan.
