Kelee Ringo, the nation’s top cornerback, lists Ohio State football in top five: Buckeyes recruiting

COLUMBUS, Ohio — One week after landing a commitment from a four-star defensive back, Ohio State’s football program once again finds itself as a finalist for another. Kelee Ringo of Saguaro (Ariz.) High School announced that Ohio State has been included in his top five along with Alabama, Georgia, Oregon and Texas. The five-star recruit is rated as the top cornerback and the No. 9 overall player in the class, according to 247Sports.com. Should he and five-star running back Bijan Robinson of Salpointe Catholic (Ariz.) High School pick the Buckeyes, it would give them three of the top five players from the state of Arizona. That would include the state’s top cornerback and running back, along with the top quarterback in Jack Miller of Chaparral (Ariz.) High School, who already is committed.
