
COLUMBUS, Ohio – An Ohio State-Georgia connection will live on long after Justin Fields completes his Buckeye career. The programs announced Thursday morning they have scheduled a home-and-home series for 2030-31. Ohio State will plan in Athens on Sept. 14, 2030. The Bulldogs will travel to Ohio Stadium on Aug. 30, 2031. Those will be the first regular-season contests between the two programs. The only previous meeting came in the 1993 Citrus Bowl, which Georgia won, 21-14. “It’s certainly great to have a team like that on the schedule going forward,” OSU coach Ryan Day said on his Thursday radio show, after joking about how he will be 50 years old by the time the games occur. “One of the best programs in the country.
