
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Since the last time Ohio State played Maryland, the Buckeyes are 11-0, with wins over teams ranked No. 4, No. 21, No. 9, No. 25 and No. 13. Ohio State is averaging 47.3 points in those games, and only one of those 11 games was decided by fewer than three touchdowns. Winning at Maryland on Nov. 17 last year 52-51 was the last low point for an Ohio State football program that took off the next week with a 23-point win over Michigan, and has rocketed to No. 1 with a perfect eight-game start to this season.
