
CLEVELAND, Ohio — The presence of area basketball teams is still being felt within the Northeast Ohio area. It is as strong as it has been with the International Sports Academy at Andrews Osborne entering its second year with SPIRE and Western Reserve Academy. This year, ISA added Garfield Heights’ Demetrius “Meechie” Johnson and Benedictine’s Andy Barba to go with a number of Canadian prospects, including 6-foot-11 junior center Charles Bediako. While Johnson is committed to Ohio State, Bediako has drawn interest from the Buckeyes.
