Ohio State football came to Fiesta Bowl at ‘full strength’ to begin week of prep for Clemson


PHOENIX — Per its season-long custom, Ohio State football will not release an updated status report for Saturday’s Fiesta Bowl matchup with Clemson until Friday morning. However, shortly after landing in Arizona on Sunday, coach Ryan Day spoke with even more optimism about his team’s health than he did prior to the Big Ten championship game. That status report was the cleanest the Buckeyes had seen all season. The 21 days between games is a shorter-than-usual gap between the conference championship games and the College Football Playoff semifinals.
