
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jeffrey Okudah became the second Ohio State football player to declare for the NFL Draft this week. Along with making his announcement Okudah a letter to his mother Marie Okudah, who died of lymphoma in 2017. The defensive back wrote a similar letter in the Player’s Tribune in 2017 when he committed to the Buckeyes as the No. 1 cornerback in the country. Okudah is expected to be another in the long list of Ohio State defensive backs to be first-round NFL Draft picks. As a junior, this past season he recorded 34 tackles, nine pass break-ups and three interceptions.
