CLEVELAND, Ohio — Kyle McCord was watching Ohio State’s national semifinal loss against Clemson with some family. Of course a few of the people in attendance took the occasion to point out it could be him playing in such a big game in a few years. McCord was just watching, not thinking about the future, but even he let his mind wander a little when asked about it. “It is a cool thought to think two years from now I could be in that same position,” he said.
