COLUMBUS, Ohio — Quarterbacks across the country will salvage a small dose of revenge against Chase Young at April’s NFL Draft. While the Ohio State defensive end is widely considered the best overall player in the 2020 draft class, he will not be the No. 1 pick. That distinction will almost certainly go to his former Buckeye teammate-turned-LSU quarterback Joe Burrow. The top pick in the draft is almost always about finding a quarterback (16 of the last 23), protecting him (three of the last 23) or attacking him (the other four). Had Burrow not erupted with a landslide Heisman Trophy winning season, Young’s name would likely be the first called in Las Vegas on April 23. The last three edge rushers who went No. 1 overall were Myles Garrett, Jadeveon Clowney and Mario Williams. They have thus far combined for eight Pro Bowls and 160 sacks in 20 seasons.…
