Top Ohio State football 2021 cornerback target Jordan Hancock commits to Clemson: Buckeye Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — In the national recruiting battle between Ohio State football and Clemson, the Tigers won the latest prize. Jordan Hancock, a cornerback from North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia, committed to Clemson on Wednesday. The four-star prospect — ranked No. 82 in 247 Sports’ national composite for the 2021 class — was one of the highest-ranked cornerbacks with a Buckeye offer. Hancock was scheduled to make an official visit to Ohio State in June, but Clemson locked him up following his unofficial over the weekend. Ohio State still has the top-ranked 2021 class per 247, but the lead over Clemson is minimal, both in terms of overall ranking (222.26-221.01) and average prospect ranking (95.61-95.59).
