How did Ohio State basketball react to the NCAA and Big Ten Tournaments being canceled?


COLUMBUS, Ohio — The NCAA and Big Ten Tournament are two things on a long list of sporting events that have been canceled following the outbreak of the coronavirus. For Ohio State basketball that means that senior Andre Wesson won’t have one last opportunity to be apart of March Madness for one last time in his career. It also means freshmen E.J. Liddell and Ibrahima Diallo won’t get to do it for the first time. The Buckeyes had righted the ship on their season finishing with a 21-10 record and 11-9 Big Ten. They looked as if they’d returned to the type of team they were at the beginning of the season when they bolstered an 11-1 non-conference record with wins over Kentucky and Villanova.
