K.J. Hill slides to 7th round of NFL Draft 2020, taken 220th overall by Los Angeles Chargers: Ohio State football


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football called K.J. Hill an H-back, a holdover in terminology from Urban Meyer’s coaching tenure. During a prolific career in which he wound up as the Buckeyes’ all-time receptions leader, Hill resembled a prototypical NFL slot receiver. Saturday, Hill fell all the way to the seventh round, where the Los Angeles Chargers selected him with the 220th overall pick. Hill’s receiving numbers dipped a bit as a senior, but only because Ohio State threw the ball less frequently than it had during Dwayne Haskins’ record-setting 2018 season. Hill still totaled 636 yards and 10 touchdowns on 57 receptions.
