
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Justin Fields is a threat with his arm and his legs for Ohio State football. As a five-star recruit out of Kennesaw, Georgia, he was the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the country. While Georgia used him primarily as a run threat in his year with the Bulldogs, the Buckeyes capitalized on all his skills during the 2019 season. The return of a viable QB run threat helped running back J.K. Dobbins get back to a level that led to a record 2,003 rushing yards. Fields’ arm gave Ohio State its second-best passing season in school history while throwing just three interceptions. The Buckeyes will need both parts of Fields’ game again in 2020.
