Ohio State football sees four-star Joshua Burnham lasting at linebacker: Buckeyes Recruiting Roundup


CLEVELAND, Ohio — Four-star linebacker Joshua Burnham might play a different position in a few years. Per 247Sports.com, the Traverse City (Michigan) Central product is the No. 75 overall prospect in the Class of 2022, and the No. 7 outside linebacker. Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida State, Auburn and Stanford are among the programs in contact. If the 6-3, 208-pound Burnham grows and gains weight, some coaching staffs believe he could possibly shift to tight end or defensive end. He’s played a few snaps at tight end before, but he’s never played defensive end. “I’d like to stay more towards linebacker, but if I need to switch to help the team, I guess I’ll do it,” Burnham said.
