COLUMBUS, Ohio — One of Ohio State football’s crown jewels for the esteemed 2021 recruiting class added to his list of achievements Wednesday. A five-star running back, commit TreVeyon Henderson climbed to No. 1 at his position in 247Sports’ 2021 composite rankings. With Henderson the top running back in the country, he is also the nation’s No. 16 prospect on 247Sports’ composite rankings. Camar Wheaton from Garland, Texas is the only other five-star running back. Henderson and five-star defensive end Jack Sawyer are the only Ohio State commits who rank in the top 20 on the list. As a top-tier running back, Henderson is joined by fellow 2021 commit Evan Pryor as one of the best in his position.
