
INDIANAPOLIS — Ohio State football’s preseason officially begins July 13 after the NCAA’s Division I council approved the proposal extended last week by the Football Oversight Committee. All teams who open their season on Sept. 5 — as OSU does against Bowling Green — can hold eight hours of weight training, conditioning and up to two hours of film review per week from July 13-23. From July 24-Aug. 6, teams are allowed a maximum of 20 hours per week of countable athletically related activities.
