WATCH: Ohio State AD urges Buckeyes fans to wear masks

As schools and universities continue to welcome back their student-athletes and prepare for a potential season of fall sports, many are urging their communities to continue to wear masks and practice social distancing as much as possible. In a video posted to Twitter from Ohio State University Athletic Director Gene Smith, Smith urges Buckeyes fans to wear their masks in hopes that fans will be able to pack Ohio Stadium this fall. “The Shoe” as it’s known for its horseshoe shape, has a max capacity of 104,944 people. “Buckeyes, we miss you. We would really like to see you in The Shoe this fall,” Smith said in the video. “So please, wear your mask.
