Ohio State football’s Chase Young only unanimous selection to Big Ten Network’s All-Decade Team


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Chase Young’s dominance on Ohio State’s defensive line over the past three seasons earned a unique distinction on the Big Ten Network’s All-Decade Team. Young was announced Thursday as the only unanimous first-team selection. He was joined by another former Buckeye pass rusher, Joey Bosa, on the four-man front. Young was a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2019 and won the Nagurski and Bednarik Awards as the nation’s top defensive player. The Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year recorded an OSU-record 16.5 sacks as a junior to go along with 21 tackles for loss and seven forced fumbles. Washington drafted Young with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The No. 3 selection, OSU cornerback Jeff Okudah, was a second-team selection for the All-Big Ten team.
