
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Neither the Big Ten Conference coaches nor media ever voted Ohio State’s Urban Meyer as Big Ten Coach of the Year during his tenure from 2013-18. There was really no other possible choice, however, for the coach of the Big Ten Network’s All-Decade team. A panel of Big Ten Network analysts and conference journalists gave Meyer that honor with their votes. Meyer coached the Buckeyes to an 83-9 record. That included a 54-4 record in conference games and Big Ten championships in 2014, 2017 and 2018. Meyer’s OSU teams did not lose a regular-season Big Ten game in any of his first three seasons and no more than one in any season.
