
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s Justin Fields should be in a season-long conversation for the title of nation’s best quarterback. The season-opening watch list for the Davey O’Brien Award — given annually to the nation’s top quarterback — included the Buckeyes’ Heisman Trophy finalist. Fields threw for 3,273 yards with 41 touchdowns against three interceptions last season and also rushed for 484 yards and 10 touchdowns.
