
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jordan Hancock of North Gwinnett High School in Georgia has decommitted from Clemson, and all signs point towards the defensive back heading to Ohio State. The Buckeyes have been looking for another cornerback to add to its top-rated class since losing out on Ohio three-star Devonta Smith flipped to Alabama in June. It’s also another position room that is righting the ship on landing top 100 recruits. OSU did so with quarterbacks, landing Jack Miller and C.J. Stroud. They repeated their efforts in 2021 at running back with TreVeyon Henderson and Evan Pryor. But the cornerbacks room has had its fair share of misses over the past few recruiting cycles.
