COLUMBUS, Ohio — Camden County (GA) football coach Bob Sphire knows 2022 four-star recruit Jamie Felix has the goods to be a quality college running back. But as a rising junior amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Felix’s decision will come with layers and patience. Sphire said because of COVID-19, Felix — like many recruits — hasn’t been able to attend camps or go on visits. The Georgia High School Association moved forward in its process July 15, saying helmets can be given to players starting Monday. Felix has been offered by Ohio State, along with schools such as Florida, Florida State and Georgia among others.
